"EXTENDING THE ATM EXPERIENCE TO BILL PAYMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES" for Deployment of Any Time Bill Payment Kiosks at Public Utilities like PSEB, BSES, DGVCL, PGVCL, MPMKVKL, UPCL etc has won an prestigious award at the eWorld Forum Awards held at Hotel Ashok in New Delhi on 2nd August 2011. The event was organized by e-Gov magazine. The Dept of IT & Telecom, Govt of India, NeGP Plan, Aadhar Project & Dept of Science and Technology, were the co-organizers.

The award was presented at a glittering awards ceremony where our project stood alongside several national and international projects.
The eWorld 2011 Awards have been instituted with the primary aim of felicitating and acknowledging unique and innovative initiatives in the use of Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D). These awards were given away during the eWorld Forum event which was organized in New Delhi. Nominations for awards were received from a large number of countries including Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius etc.
The eWorld 2011 Awards were given to the distinguished global ICT initiatives in the fields of :
- ICT Innovation in Governance
- ICT Innovation in Healthcare
- ICT Innovation promoting Millennium Development Goals
